Fall Makeup Must Haves!

Yay for Fall makeup!! In this post I’ve listed my essential cosmetic products for the cooler months, and have tried my best to entice you to try them out as well-yeah, I’m that friend.

1- Bronzer: Even though I love cozy sweaters and warm scarfs, I’m still a little bitter that the sun has gone into hiding and with it, my tan. To keep from looking sickly {it happens to the best of us}, I like to apply a small amount of my NARS Laguna Bronzer, just for some definition and warmth. Don’t go crazy though, less is more when it comes to bronzer in the colder months!

2- Fall Eye Palette: I love playing with warmer eyeshadows in Autumn and this shadow quad by Maybelline in 02Q Natural Smokes is perfect! You can easily transition your look from day to night with these colors, and they look great with a nude lip! Not to mention how convenient it is having all the colors for one look in the same palette. I give this two thumbs up!

3- Mascara: You know I love me some mascara, and I am officially obsessed with CoverGirl’s Flamed Out Mascara. It’s part of their Hunger Games line, and adds mega length and volume to your lashes. Run, don’t walk, to Target and pick this baby up!! It will change your life-seriously.

4-Red Lips: I’m totally digging the whole vampy red lips for Fall right now. Minimal eye makeup and red lips are not only super fashion forward, but incredibly easy to achieve with the right lipstick. My go-to is Rimmel London’s Kate Moss Lipstick in 01. Just apply it to your lips, throw on your sassiest little black dress and you’ll  wow the crowd at your upcoming holiday parties!

5- Foundation: When the thermostat cools down, I typically switch out a lighter foundation for a more full coverage one. I LOVE Revlon’s 24hr Colorstay Liquid Foundation. It gives me just the right coverage, is build-able, and stays put all day. Score!

6- Lip Balm: It’s no surprise that I’ve included a lip balm in my Fall must haves list. With all of the rain, cold air, and arctic wind my lips must endure, things can get a little cray cray. To combat the dreaded “cracked look”, I reach for my Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in the color Berry Soft. I like that it keeps my lips moisturized while still giving my lips some much needed color. Its perfect for long days at school or running errands around town!

7- Cute Makeup Bag: Is it weird that I frequently switch out my makeup bag?! {don’t answer that…} I may or may not be mildly obsessed with bags, be it gym bags, carry on bags, purses, overnight bags, and yes, even makeup bags. I have a small army neatly tucked away in my closet, and I have a feeling this adorable cosmetics case by Ted Baker will soon join the ranks! It can hold all of my favorite Fall essentials while sitting pretty in pink on my counter. Sounds like a win win to me!

What are your favorite makeup must haves for this season?

Love, Calley Rae
