Going Back To Cali

Spring Break was last week and let me tell you, it could not have come at a more perfect time! I was super stressed with school and just generally pissed off at the midwest’s lack luster weather. My roommate, Doralyn, and I had decided a trip to California would be the perfect remedy. Not only was I beyond excited to show her where I grew up, but I also got to spend time with family and friends; all who were extremely tan in comparison to my Twilight-esq skin.

Once arriving in California, Dora and I did a little bit of exploring (see what I did there??) around the Hollywood Hills and Los Angeles. We got to see the Walk of Fame, some major celebrity houses, and the most important of all California must haves: In N Out. Needless to say she now wants to move to Cali upon graduating.

We also spent a day at the happiest place on earth: Disneyland!! We had such a blast, and got to soak up some California sunshine. This valley girl def missed her shorts and flip flop weather! We were too excited to take actual pictures, oops!, so here’s some funny ride faces for your viewing pleasure..

The: Calm, cool, and collected California Screamin’ face

The: I don’t know what to do with my hands so I guess I’ll just “raise the roof” face

The: We take this game too seriously to figure out the location of the camera face

And The Infamous: I love Space Mountain so much I’m having convulsions face

Disneyland was a ton of fun, and was a great start to Spring Break and the rest of our week!

Check back for more from Spring Break 2013!!

Love, Calley Rae
